Paipo for Tubes
3'4'' paipo. This one has a bit less volume than the usual ones I make. David said he wanted to pull into mostly close out tubes, good old South Bay beach breaks. The bigger paipos have a hard time holding a line in the tube in that kind of surf, so I shortened, narrowed and added some lift in the nose.

6'8'' alaia
This one is for Josh in Florida. A couple of planks of special wood are turned into a finely tuned speed machine.

Bluegill
This one is for me. 6'6'' wood bottom, wood cork wood rails, glassed with Entropy bio resin, and shaped out of a recycled blank. I tried cork in the rails this time. I want to see if their is any difference in flex. I have seen Paul Jensen and Danny Hess's wood boards using cork on the rails. They look really good. I don't think cork is much lighter, if any lighter than the wood I use, but I think it will be interesting to see how impact compression reacts from rail dings.

Corky, bellyboard
3' belly board for Jim. I pressed two layers of cork onto some paulownia and added a little kick in the nose. Then I glassed it with entropy bio resin. Jim likes some handles at power points so he can push and pull so he can bury the rails on turns. I added the cork so it would add some float. I hope to get some feedback tomorrow.
