5'6'' Bio Bluegill
Josh, the road warrior, rolled through town the other day and picked up his Bluegill made from recycled foam and glassed with entopy bio resin.

Bluegill
This one is for me. 6'6'' wood bottom, wood cork wood rails, glassed with Entropy bio resin, and shaped out of a recycled blank. I tried cork in the rails this time. I want to see if their is any difference in flex. I have seen Paul Jensen and Danny Hess's wood boards using cork on the rails. They look really good. I don't think cork is much lighter, if any lighter than the wood I use, but I think it will be interesting to see how impact compression reacts from rail dings.

The Pizzaz is in the Rail
I left the last 7'6'' in Maine. We really liked that board, so I made a new one. This is recycled foam, wood veneer, and super sap resin. This construction creates a lot of inertia and spring. It is loose and has the drive of a longer board.

Finishing Touches
This is my new 7'9''. Jim Phillips cut up the poly blank and Mike and I glued in the stringers. 1/2 inch paulownia. I glassed it with epoxy bio resin. We took more footage with a I phone, but I can not download it into my editing booth.

Pretty Organic Stick

This is Matt's Bio resin recycled foam 9' longboard. This is his first longboard, usually rides shortboards. He wanted something light and pretty maneuverable. He was very eager to work with green materials. He really likes the board, even the smell of the bio resin. He did want any leash plug on the board. He rejoices with the great float and paddling. Also, states, the board is fast and is a section maker.Tuesday, April 19, 2011

Recycled foam and bio resin with wood veneer deck Bluegill
This board was made with a Marko recycled foam blank. I glassed it with entropy bio resin. Also we vacuumed bagged a eighth inch wood veneer deck on it. It is 8' long. It floats amazing and catches anything.
