5'6'' Bio Bluegill

Josh, the road warrior, rolled through town the other day and picked up his Bluegill made from recycled foam and glassed with entopy bio resin.

Thanks to Shawn Parkin for the photos.  http://www.shawnparkin.com/

Handplanes

Made with sustainable wood and coated with plant based Entropy bio resin, these are very environmentally sound planes that work really well. Cyrus Sutten and I design and make the planes under the Surfcraft Cooperative logo. They also have a adjustable strap made by Micheal Disculpio up in Santa Cruz. Patagonia in Cardiff, Mollusk in Venice, and Wetsand in Ventura are carrying them, or contact me or Korduroy.tv to order a custom.

The Pizzaz is in the Rail

I left the last 7'6'' in Maine. We really liked that board, so I made a new one. This is recycled foam, wood veneer, and super sap resin. This construction creates a lot of inertia and spring. It is loose and has the drive of a longer board.

6'9'' Wood Veneer Recycled Foam Bio Resin Bluegill

This one is for Alex ( I almost had to keep this one). Surfing and Kite boarding both will be done on this board. The dark wood is Sequioa.

More green boards and fins

This is a 7'0'' recycled foam blank glassed with Entopy Bio-resin. This is the color of the resin with no pigment. It can be a 5, 4, 3, 2, fin. It is for the Morro Bay area.

This is a marine ply fin glassed with epoxy. Recycled foam bio resin 6,6 oz deck, 6 oz bottom. This board is pigmented blue, as you can see. The board was really light. I forgot to take a picture of the whole board.

Super Green surfboard

Here, the latest green board. 5'10'' Peanut Bluegill. This is a recycled, recyclable blank made by Marko Foam modified with bluegill rails, farm grown wood.

I laminated and finished coated with Entropy bio-resin made organic materials.

This board finished out really light and can be found at Mollusk Surf Shop in Venice Beach.

Recycled Foam

These Two blanks were made from recycled foam. The Marko is epoxy and the Green foam is polyester made by US Blanks. Both companies collect cut offs, dust and whatever foam the find and remold it into new blanks. I had the Green Foam tinted yellow for fun.
I made Bluegills out of them, and sent them to be glassed. The epoxy blank will be glassed with surfer saped bio resin. The polyester blank will be polyestered. More later.
