Paipo Time

Belly boarding on small waves on a wood board is very fun. You go much faster than on a regular belly board. Best of all, one can get tubed on a overhead wave just about every time. Here I am riding boards from 4'2'' to a regular 6'8'' alaia.

New Model 5'10''

Gang, a new model that I am really excited about. Here in San Diego a lot of people ride Mini Simmons type boards, and ride them well. Much respect to Richard Kenvin and Hydrodynamica. I wanted to make a short, wide board, but wanted single fin control. The new model has the same speed bottom contour that I have been putting in my longboards. the template is the front half I use for a board popular with my Japanese customers called "The Mini Long." The back half stays wide as far back as possible until it gets to the fin. I don't want it to spin out so I pull it in. I rode it for the first time today, and I am very happy with it. Loose, fast, does off the lips, and can even scoot up to the front of the board.

Pretty Organic Stick

This is Matt's Bio resin recycled foam 9' longboard. This is his first longboard, usually rides shortboards. He wanted something light and pretty maneuverable. He was very eager to work with green materials. He really likes the board, even the smell of the bio resin. He did want any leash plug on the board. He rejoices with the great float and paddling. Also, states, the board is fast and is a section maker.

Peanut Gallery

This is a picture taken out of Mickey de Temples new movie coming out this spring. The movie is called "sight Sound." This is Chris del Moro on a 6'0'' Peanut in Nicaragua. Chris said they did a lot of alaia riding there, and should be some really good footage in the movie.

For Andy. 5'11'' This model is a cross between a MR Twin and a fish. Pulled in nose to a fish, but a wider tail than a MR. The fin template is also a medium of both styles of boards. This create a floaty but not boaty loose rip stick.
