BlueGill Fun

We are riding three different size Bluegills here I am riding a 8'4''. This is a great trimmer, section maker. It is a little less of a trick board. Mike is riding a 7'4''. This board does a mix of trim and slide maneuvers. Cory's board is 6'0''. It goes super fast, but is great for maneuvers also. The waves in the movie are from days that would be very difficult to ride on any kind of shortboard. One would have to work hard to get any kind of speed. Bluegills have speed automatically, so days like these are really fun.

Manufacturing Stoke

http://www.manufacturingstoke.com/

The guys from misfit pictures have made a film about surfing and about making surfboards. They dive into what materials go into boards and what can be used as alternatives. The movie premiers this weekend at Bird's Surf Shack. Saturday is sold out but look for Sunday's show. See movie trailor and tickets at the link above.

Stoked Grommet

Watch out Raymond has a new board. " I am a shortboarder now," he laughs as he is imagining tomorrows surf. The board is 7'2'' stretched and pulled in Quadradamus.
