The first two Bluegills I made had similar fins, but I shaped them right into the foam design and glassed over them. Those boards were heavily influenced by a friend named Bob Stassi. He wanted a alaia but out of foam. I am pretty sure this is the first I glued the wood fins on. This was genius because the fins could be re-shaped every day. I am currently working on Bluegill #103.
